I must say that I agree Billy seems like a very intelligent and likable person. This documentary failed to focus on how he can use his intelligence to be a successful person in life. I absolutely hate watching documentaries about Autism and Asperger's that only show the painful aspects of their life. I am diagnosed with Asperger's myself, and I have been through many of the same experiences during my high school life. When I saw the social scenes in school, I immediately flashed back to my high school life. People either didn't acknowledge the fact I existed or they would try to bully me. I am in my senior year now, and I can't wait to get out of high school! Therapists were no help, they would push me into social situations where I felt extremely uncomfortable. To inform people about Asperger's, we need to make documentaries that show how they can use their intelligence to make a change in the real world, instead of focusing on what they can't do and struggle with in life.
