Less than an hour long - perfect length so that the chases and fistfights don't get TOO old.
Not too sure about the ending, though - "Oh, well - I may not have gotten the girl, but ... oh yeah - I didn't get anything at all." But John Wayne is the star and the hero, so he gets his just desserts.
