Ah, yes. The smell of model glue mixing with my brother's pot smoke lingering on his clothes (we shared a room). Nothing wrong with cow's tongue, although is there any way to prepare it than boiling?My father managed the family grocery in a ghetto neighborhood and brought the Virginia smoked hams in and out through the basement window, so they wouldn't get stolen from the store.
