I knew it. BSG had the "New Klingon" look before the first Star Trek movie. THAT'S where I've seen it before!

In 1978 I was at Ft.Knox ,Ky with the Army , Infantry , and I can tell you we would march back from the motor pool and then shower up , then order Dominos Pizza and enjoy BG . It was the best part of our Fri nights ! 1SG Culver

let me tell ya this was the biggest thing in sci fi tv 1978 since sliced bread. before this the BIG sci fi show was space 1999. BG was the closest thing to Star Wars only this was on TV. THIS WAS CONSIDERED STAR WARS FOR TV. the buzz the monday after in school was all about BG. I forgot that the 2nd half was delayed for the israel-egypt camp david accords but it didnt matter. i know the later episodes werent that good but man what a debut!
