People that stupid do exist, by the boat loads. The story was not about the scenery. The cord was so long for comedic effect. You need to watch more of the drivel coming out of the studios. It is all remakes of old movies. There are no good writers in tinsel town that is why they keep recasting and remaking old movies. Even this one is a remake and has been remade since.

This movie sucks! For one, Andrew MCCarthy's character is a total moron and not very believable. He keeps catching that slut with different guys and she sweet talks him into doing what she wants every single time. He can't even see what a sleazebag she is, even after picking him up in a bar and sleeping with him on the same night! DUH! Kelly Preston is a HORRIBLE actress and she looks like she stuck her finger in a light socket or something! That hairdo is Godawful! The storyline was predictable, shallow and stupid so don't waste any of your time watching this drivel! I ended up shutting it off before half the film was over, it's that bad!

I was really disappointed in Andrew McCarthy; he's never been very deep but this was ludicrous and Kelly Preston hit a high in frizz and a low in dumb. The bartender was nice though.

Never Been a fan of Andrew McCarthy, his acting has always seemed so forced. Now Helen Hunt and Kelly Preston is a whole other story. Never did understand why Kelly's talent take her further,.....is it that Scientology wives are to be submissive?
Helen Hunt has always been great,.....comedies or dramas, she always brings it.

This was a good movie, reminds me of those early days in life. Thought found the right one but wasn't, new one comes along and still was not right. Eventually the right one was right in front but could not see until the end.

All the key parts the right actors were chosen.
