Halfway through this series, and I am still wanting answers. Why does lightening head have such advance abilities - he fights, transports, and cast spells? Is he really advanced or are the others just weaker? How does he know the two archer sisters? What is the sisters' role in relation to the demon world? Have they always been hunting demons or did they just start when they were touched by the dragon strain? Were they ever touched by the dragon strain? How are the main five characters supposed to fight an entire demonic clan when they can't even harness their own powers? Aren't they in danger of being possessed as the very powers they have come from a demon? Who is mysterious hoodie boy? How are they going to save Aoi?Did the writer think about any of this when they were outlining the background story for this anime?I'm not looking for a bulletproof anime, but characters who randomly team-up without any apparent motivation is annoying. Up to this point, i just accepted that it was a Social Contract situation - you don't want to kill me, so I don't want to kill you; but, I want a plausible story. Yes, I know this is a demon-fighting, anime centered around high school students, but characters who have no curiosity, no suspicion, and blindly form allegiances is dull - no matter how many fight scenes you throw in.
