much of the movie was intriguing enough to make me watch it, but stupid
and pointless at every plot turn. At no point did we care what happened to either of
these losers, let alone believe that they were destined to be in love and live happily
ever after. None of the characters grew or matured or became "enlightened" in any way.
The movie had such potential to be a goodie...up until the last 20-25 minutes...cripes that was the worse ending ever...and though Holly Hunter was funny - the whole angel thing was to lame...and the last 5 minutes had to be some of the worst in movie history.
i thought the beginning and middle were great but once it got to the end it seemed like it took forever. the actors were good and it was comical but the storyline dragged on!!!
okay completely WTF... i mean the movie was okay , but i mean What the hell was the last 20 minutes about? and the end them talking about fate and love.but rlly was the scottish and madonna outfit necesary?
Sit back, relax, and have a few laughs. Don't think too hard or analyze. It's just fun. I dig the girl angel. Can't wait to die and meet her in heaven.
This is a wonderful movie, bizarre and interesting, and I cant believe I havent heard of it before. I loved it! Ignore reality and take it for what it is!
