Well I love the games adn the storylines but where are some of the pretty good things that i thought were left out.
Like Dante not transforming into his demon side not even once! I mean seriously that could've been great for the final battle.
And how Vergil wasn't in here I mean seriously how is there a Devil May Cry series without even mentioning Vergil once? How the hell is that possible?
Also some backstories would've helped out alot! This was an awesome series but could've used more ideas from the game.

OVERALL: I LOVED IT!!

DMC was pretty good, i liked how the little girl was some how part of the last episode, and the stories were actually pretty good. The demons could have been alot tougher though (for example, when he was goin against a demon that lived for 2000 years and served dantes dad, you think the demon would be pretty good at sword fighting by now). The worst part was the last guy, the creppy guy turned out 2 be all strong n then he gets owned in 30 secs. So overal the story was not 2 bad, the battles were bad, but it could have been worse.

I felt the writing in this was pretty horrible plot wise. The whole series had little suspense save for the "Death Poker" episode. I've never play the games so maybe it followed pretty close to that.

Is it me or was all Dante's battles easy lasting less than two minutes? The animation & story is great however its lacking real bad in the action/fight scenes. Dante was pretty much way stronger than all the enemies he encounter & never had a real challenge which got real boring! To me there was no point in watching the other episodes because you already know Dante was going to win ease again which means 0 suspense & curiosity! For example, if you ever watch the anime "Bleach", the main character Ichigo is very strong but he always have challengers that are far stronger than his his which leads to amazing battle scenes with lots of surprises & suspense. Hopefully they make another DMC with these added improvements.

It definantly had the Devil May Cry humor to it, and Dante played the role very well in this series, however I have a few comments. First, in all the DMC games, there was 20 missions. Ending it only on 12 seems wrong. Second of all, NOT ENOUGH BATTLE ACTION. You see a flash here, hear a bang there, and poof the demon is bloody and hanging on to the last of his life to utter a few comments. Come on...DMC deserves better then that. I hope, tho, that we can get future DMC episodes from Funimation soon
