I don't know what kind of math is used here but by my calculation (19 stars divided by 10 reviews = 1.9 stars!). Come on HULU!

This film suffers greatly by trying to use the name and character "Clouseau". And thereby be expected to live up to the high standard of the Pink Panther series. It is impossible ...

Waste of time and money
Clouseau w/o Peter Sellers? Don't even bother, he is a cornerstone of all the Pink Panther films, and it's a shame to use his (movie) name without having him playing.

Upset Seller Fans
A pink panther film without the acclaimed Peter Sellers is a film not worth seeing, especially for those of you who have not seen any Pink Panther films, this should not be your first. I suggest the 1964 classic, A Shot In The Dark, as a good introduction into the Pink Panther comedies.

Better than Steve Martin
This Arkin version of Clouseau is a toned down version of Peter Sellers and not nearly as funny. Any actor attempting to recreate the role of a comedic character is just asking for disaster. Steve Martin has seriously damaged his career by making not one, but two miserable attempts to redo what Peter Sellers did perfectly. Here is a little trivia: in the last Pink Panther movie starring Sellers - which was made up of various clips of Sellers before he died - who portrayed the retired Clouseau after having plastic surgery to conceal his identity so he could live in anonimity? Answer: Roger Moore
