There were things in this movie I really liked! But I would have liked to seen less (drama) from the parents, over acting. That to me was the biggest turn off in this movie. Also movies like this tend to leave no room for the viewer to use their own thinking. But, it definately beats reality TV and a lot of the violence that drives the mainstream movie industry. It's safe for the kids.

Great acting? No, the story didn't need great acting. The movie was not a tear jerker and was not meant to be. It was just a family movie that carried a message and it got the message through.
It would be hard to make a movie that did not have Bible quotes within as there are thousands of quotes in the Bible.
Just take it for what it was meant to be. A message that life has ups and downs. How you deal with them is life,

To Bad Laurie and David was looking at the acting and missed the point of the movie. This is a Christian movie, made by a group of Christians. This movie was not made by a famous director or have well know actors. This movie is all about the message from the
The Father and his word. There are several Bible quotes from the Bible in the movie. The Father says " I will always be with you" That is found in the Bible. " You will be tested" it is also in the Bible. Watch the movie again, with a different point of view, and you will see, it is about the message from the Heavenly Father. Lots of Scriptures quotes, can you pick them out? It 's not about the acting, It is about the message.
