Keiichi has something that resembles a backbone, Bel actually shows some emotion, and the stories are less cliche (school related) and more original. I mean, A story about Goddesses who grant wishes, and the polot for the orginal series was majorly school related and Bel and Keiichi pretty much beating strange stalkers off with a stick. This one actually has a little depth and playfulness. I mean, there are so many things they can do with that main plot, and they nearly didn't do any of it with the original Ah My Goddess
