Don't hate that its in Japanese but like I said an English dub would have warranted a subscription. Very top notch artwork and animation though.

The game, especially the first one, offers alot more in the DMC story. The anime itself isn't to bad but diffenately not the Dante we love. I also thought the action was to quick to follow and agree that it was way to easy for Dante. But for anime lovers it's worth a look. Cheers

This crap sucks compared to the game. It kinda sucks as an anime as a whole as well. Capcom's Dante has way more charm than this guy. If you're a fan of the game like I am, you may be disappointed, like i am.

i remember dante as an awesome video game character who loved pizza and slayed demons with brutality.Now, its a disgrace to the game's creator

Like I noticed there were some questions that this show didn't answer. Like what kind of world are we living in where there are demons all over the place. Why is there a demon problem? Where do they come from? Have they always been there? At the end when the Demon got all upset at Patty and was like i want all the money. It occurred to me, why would a demon want money? Do these demon's have the same needs as humans? Do they need to pay cell phone bills, keep the electricity on? Or are they bored, needing money to blend in? Not to mention, I totally felt like the grown patty was just thrown in there at the end for some false twist. Really wasn't needed. If they wanted to keep the little girl in the series, we could have had some heartfelt scene where the little girl was like, don't leave me alone. I have lived so long in an orphanage alone. Some banal ending like that. Anyway, the episode did have some fun points. I've never played the video game. I did like his fascination with strawberry sundaes. I'm going to give the second episode a try.
