I like both, especially since English language dubs have been gradually improving. They're trying a lot harder to bridge the cultural gap while staying true to the original material. It's not easy but I think they've had various measures of success. It's probably easier w/ an anime that's set in a high school or some other modern setting rather than a fantasy or period piece. That being said, this one isn't that bad and I think it suffers from the usual timing awkwardness. Whether you like subs or not is very much dependent on whether you like subs or not in the first place; personally I really like subs even in things that are in languages I understand b/c I can read pretty quickly and sometimes I might miss something if I were say, laughing at a joke. What is annoying however, is if the timing is wrong and it spoils the suspense.
