I've listened to these programs for hours while I do other work. To do that is virtually insufferable. How may times can an interviewer use "umm", "ahh" , and generally the same words over and over in interviews. It's worse when they are together; how many times can they say "and also we have" (the copy is horrible)? With all that wrapped up in pinched, nasal vocals, it's like a burr in the side.
BUT now to look a them stumble over each other and use some juvenile "cutesy" way of interviewing "flashing grins from interviewee and back to camera" makes it rank. When they tag team and glance side ways to each other as a cue, it is like watching an annoying send-up of high school cable news. Being a part of the industry, this should be fun. It aint.
"Who was the.. ummm... artist?". Get a job.
