It was so cute. very interesting on seeing pregnancy at a different time era, and how people reacted to abortion. Not to mention the simply hilarious acting with the over reaction gestures and movements!
Long before you would have thought of it, Hollywood produced this dark teen romance movie about the evil of evils, ABORTION! It is well done for the era, losing some punch nowadays with the ways of the world but definitely creepy. Good actors all.
I love the '50s movies, but this one is a bit much. Women who can only think about keeping house and making food and a world where you can't even use the word "pregnant." I laughed out lound when Athrur's mother could olny think to offer him a piece of toast as he chased after his sweetheart! It is amusing to have on in the background as you're doing something else.
Well written and well-acted, this story deeper than a well and a must-see for parents and the parented. Real characters deal with real life the way real, caring people really could/should. Human and humane, a lovely lament of adaptive love and loving. Highly recommended!
