I can't say that I disagree with either Traveling Bard or Andre. But unfortunately there are several considerations that need to be made. The first is sad, but undoubtedly true. The vast majority of people in or out of America couldn't tell you the main differences in Native American culture if their life depended on it. The second is a simple matter of logistics. There are sometimes very little time to turn around a script and get it ready for production. Unfortunately research is not always given enough time or viable at all. There are also production factors like cost or availability of sets and props. Perhaps what they had there was the closest thing the studio had in terms of assets. I'm not making excuses for it, but in the end television exists to do one thing. Make money. The fact that you are entertained in the process is a happy side effect. And so what I'm attempting to get at is, I notice a lot of inaccuracies in TV even today. I just don't let it bother me.Anyway have fun people. This is a pretty good show.
