probably wasnt a filler. just an excuse for the animation, so people wouldnt completely stop watching it

This episode was really painful to watch with the jarring change in animation styles. It doesn't go back to (somewhat) normal until the very end of the episode, which was way too late for me. Everyone has fish lips in this, and the worst part was that this episode seriously felt like a filler... as if that's needed for an anime series like this that practically feels like a filler or a parody of other mecha anime. I think overall, Aquarion is just okay and entertaining at times, but this episode was definitely not.

I'm assuming that the key animators were MIA for this episode, so they got all the in-between animators to do everything.

Thank you for posting this, I am glad to know that this is only one episode long. Basically the artist put a lot more effort into the breasts more so than the face, a lot of the characters just had two dots for their faces at one time. See 4 other replies

wow it took only a couple of seconds and it is odd! I think for whatever reason they couldn't afford 2 artists for the mythic beast place and the "real" world so they got one to do the both of them. Glad it is only one episode. but Its not horrible, its ok See 4 other replies

Yeah, the art style in this episode is downright painful to look at. Luckily it seems we get the original artist back for the rest of the episodes. I know there are people out here who dig this style, but it's pretty rough, if you ask me. XD See 4 other replies

I should probably specify, why did the animation style throughout the entire episode change, not just during the dream world sequence? if it is this way through the rest of the series I like it much less :/ See 4 other replies

Sudden change of styles? Why. . . . I realize now why the style of the artist makes such a diffrence. . .
