Dog town has great intentions in it's message of hope. The downside is that everyone involved seems ill informed albeit caring. Hybrid vigor is a myth and shabby science at best, not science which I would expect from a vet. The vet also does horrid placement on those X rays which don't indicate if the dog really has good hips and knees.
Handlers often comfort aggressive behaviors thereby reinforcing them. They also allow caretakers to allow poor handling which encourages again, aggressive behavior.
The only good part of this particular show was the story of the lab and the actual ACL surgery on the rottie.
