So, let's see...this iPad piece was on an ABC NEWS show. ABC is owned by Disney:

Disney bought Pixar, which was being run and controlled by Steve Jobs (while he was running and controlling Apple). Thus, Jobs became a major Disney shareholder (he was paid in Disney stock), and he sits on the Disney Board of Directors:

Is it any surprise that this is a one-sided, hype, puff piece that completely glosses over all of the deficiencies and faults of this new Apple product, when there is so much money at stake?
At the start of this piece, this conflict-of-interest (euphemistically called a "corporate relationship") should have been disclosed !!!
Don't they teach Ethics in journalism school anymore ?
As an aside, Apple is unfortunately becoming the new Microsoft...all hype, no substance, lousy products, all about the money, not caring about their customers, monopolistic behavior, misleading and misrepresenting (including about the CEO's health), etc. The stock keeps going up, but the company I once loved, I have started to loathe, and I have lost some respect for Mr Jobs.
By the way...I bought an iMac (after being on a Wintel machine for a few years, I bought into the hype), I'm using it now, and it stinks...I keep seeing the spinning multi-colored circle of death (an application crash), I can't do certain things I could easily do before, and I hear Apple is now trying to put Adobe out of business (like Microsoft did to Netscape).
My 1700 dollar dual-core (what a rip-off, in RAM as well...Apple tells you that they make up for the lousy specs with how great their OS is) machine is so slow, and crash-prone, and dysfunctional, and impractical compared to my old Wintel machine that was under 500 dollars. I did not have any problems with Windows Vista, by the way. I will be buying another Windows machine with a quad-core AMD processor (I hate supporting monopolies) any day now.
If you want to know the TRUTH about the iPad, read the OLD reviews that came out right after Steve Jobs presented the iPad to the world...they were almost unanimously negative reviews. For some reason, the reviews I'm seeing lately are positive...probably bought and paid for with Apple's 100s of millions of dollars in marketing money, or generated by fear of upsetting Apple and thereafter getting no access or being financially punished in some way.
