Went to go see the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" movie this week with family and friends. We all just loved the movie! It was better than expected. The other reviewers need to see the movie as it follows the book very closely and is one of the best book to film adaptations that I have ever seen.I can't say enough about how fun and entertaining this movie was. I don't want to give away any of the comedy scenes, but there are so many wonderful scenes and comedy segments, and they are so funny. If you don't "laugh-out-loud" watching this movie...you aren't breathing.The acting is great is this movie, especially the main character Greg Heffley (played by Zachary Gordon). He was excellent as Greg. He really had our attention throughout the movie. The rest of the cast was very good. We liked the way they added in the cartoon stick figures from the book. Really good job, although you don't have to have read the book to enjoy this movie.If you want a really funny cinema experience, go see this movie, you will enjoy it very much and get a glimpse of the past in surviving the middle school system. We had a mix of 1/2 adults and 1/2 kids ages 10-16. Everyone enjoyed this movie!

it looks cheesy and stupid i woulnt be surprised if this was a flock

I read it while I was shelving children's books in the library. I heard that it was discovered online as well. It's fantastic so I'm not sure a movie will do it justice...
