Love the Night Gallery....but I gotta say....anyone else start giggling when the lady started running and screaming like a banshee for like a full minute? Such a drama queen ;-pJust had to point that out....love the show tho! Classic!

I've liked Rod Sterling ever since I could remember The Twilight Zone. There is always madness in method, but how far and to what extent are you willing to go crossing that line, some things should not be tampered with. Larry Hagman was a bit comical, it was fun to watch this movie. Movies today have changed and it is good to see the old ones are still around.

They don't make TV shows like this anymore Rod Serling was really good

the night gallery pilot featuring joan crawford with blonde hair as the wealthy blind dowager who blackmails a doctor to get her sight back is the best night gallery episode i've ever seen. joan crawford gives a performance worthy of an emmy and shows that she has not lost her big screen chops. when she screams at the doctor that she wants to see something...COLOR! it's chilling. every time my eyes drink in something beautiful and records it in my brain i think about joan crawford as the blind woman in the pilot episode of night gallery.

I thought "The Dead Man" was interesting. Very Gothic. The ending was a bit confusing, though. Amazing how tempting it is to play God! "The Housekeeper" was fun. Interesting transition for Larry Hagman between roles as that silly astronaut and JR. Jeannette Nolan is one of my favorite NG actors/actresses. The story went on a little too long, however.

Like Rod W. I, too, watched both the Twilight Zone and Night Gallery as a child and teenager.This one was always one of my favorites. Night Gallery came on Wednesday on NBC at 10:00. I invariably would fall asleep on it, so the next day my sister would tell me about the episodes. I'll never forget her telling me about "The Dead Man." I remember wondering why the patient killed the doctor. My sister replied, "Because HE KILLED HIM! Wouldn't you be alittle peeved?!" The Dead Man, The Caterpillar, The Doll, The Diary, Feast of Blood and Certain Shadows on the Wall are my absolute favorites.
Also, the pilot for the Night Gallery starring Roddy McDowall in one of the segments is very SCARY! Michael Blodgett(aka dead man) was kinda popular back then. You saw him on a few television shows.
