"They're Tearing down..." is a powerful and poignant story of existential sorrow for a lost life, and the the man who tires to get it back. A man who prefers the ghosts of his past then to the flesh and blood people of his dreary present. If you're over forty and going through a mid-life crisis this one is for you. It's got top notch acting (William Windon superb in the lead, whom you may recognise from Star Trek's "The Doomsday Machine" ep. And Diane Baker whose face will look familiar and whose eyes you won't take your eyes off, she plays his secretary who loves him). The second story has a cool premise and a neat twist but alas is too brief to be truly effective. But plop down and enjoy the first segment for good drama with an ambigiously supernatural element.
