The plot to this movie is really good: a woman seeking retribution against unfair odds. While the music sequences are not commonplace for the western audience, I liked that the song I remember hearing had a purpose in the movie and not just an oppportunity to be The Chorus like in greek theater.
Some of the characters should have had a "character" to their roles and not a two dimensional aspect. Like the main anatgonist's barber, it is understood that he is not as smart as the boss, but unless the barber character is a known comic actor, the dialogue dragging on is not a good way to keep the audience's interest.
If it weren't for the protagonist in this movie, with her stunning beauty and her even cooler Bo Staff skills(she did her own stunts!), I wouldn't have given this movie a second shot. The lead female SAVED this movie!
