A forshadowing of Heat

Great episode, and for fans of the movie Heat. I can definitely see how sprinklings of Michael Mann's great heist film came from his producing days at Vice. Very cool to see the interactions inside the robbery crew and the minute details of the police investigation.

Also, Castillo and Crockett teaming up on an investigation was a great dynamic. Also, Gina's scene inside the hair dressing studio was just '80s cool (Sandra Santiago just sold that scene). And no TV lieutenant is still as cool as Castillo, he is still the man...BUSHIDO FOREVER!
