Typical Fox Network... They love to allow a great show a chance and then kill it with uneven airings, poor promotions, and interruptions. Lets just face it, they did the exact same thing to Firefly and a handful of other shows. As far as this show is concerned, I just watched every episode in one day and I'm on my second round. I've worked in kitchens all my life, everything from fine dinning to dive bars and I've loved every second of it. This really does capture what goes on in the back of house. I'll be the first to admit that almost everything seen in this show I have witnessed or participated in... from a fork into someone's rear to having sex and doing drugs in the walk-in. I have now gotten out of the party days, but still manage to have a great deal of fun at work. A true kitchen really is as tight-knit as Jack and his crew, and the personalities are all typical in the kitchen. I can not begin to describe how much I love this show and how disappointed I am with Fox for canceling it.

ok, i would like to think of myself as a pretty decent show critic and im gonna go ahead and say its probably the funniest show ever! Every character has their own witty,goofy way of being freaking hilarious!!! Dude we need to get a petition to bring it back on the air.

(The owner confronts Jack about the un-popular sweetbreads) - Jack: "Those are hot right now" - Owner: "You sold one."Jack: "Well last week I sold none, so its a 100% increase." - Jim: "Actually, you can't calculate an increase from 0% - (interrupted by Jack yelling) "JIM DIE."I spit out my food laughing at that, absolutely hilarious.
