None of the locations that are discussed in the show are real. The names and places have been changed. This is a celebrity version of an mtv show called fear. It's more about how your mind makes shadows and sounds appear when you are given a scary story and left in the dark. Also if you look at some of the distant camera angles there were cameras left in the location before the "celebs" were taken there. Also there are crew people hidden making some of the sounds and shadows. There is always one person who really belives, one who doesn't and one who is a real whiner very formula for a reality show.

While this show is usually a bit amusing - this episode was frustrating. They all said they felt a presence in the room, yet only one person asked a question! I do not understand why someone would agree to this when they clearly do not want to witness any proof.

It seems that the quite a few cast members from the show Baywatch is on this show,

They are consistent. You guys just aren't paying attention very well.
Wooden lucy story involves SAMUEL Hawthorne (died of heart attack), and his daughter Margret Hawthorne.

Tanner's ghost involves John Tanner, and PAUL Hawthorne (died of body being mangled, arm missing). Its not clear if Paul is Samuel's son, but they are related because of ownership of the mill, and last name.

Some of the stuff on this show is faked out like the shadows closing in on the cast. But is basically the celebs freaking themselves out. But the stories are in fact true. Not made up. At least not by CPP.

Of course it doesn't make sense, and of course it's not real. It's not scientific. It's about watching people get the crap scared out of them. The show needs people who don't mind making asses of themselves on camera and who better than a bunch of D-listers and has-beens?

I do agree they could be consistent with story lines and locations, but part of the humor, for me, is watching people psyche themselves out and it's even funnier when the stories aren't real but they make themselves believe it and get wicked scared. The mind is a powerful tool, and you can use it against yourself.

It's called "Ayers Island", I wish that MTV\VH1 would stick to a TRUE documentary approach, & not add buffoonery to their shows.
