This one was funny as usual, (especially when Mr. Peterson's voice goes higher and higher!) but it was a little disconcerting trying to get used to the change in color from season 1 to season 2. The color is so much more bright and vivid, and the picture seemed a little more fuzzy. I guess after a few more episodes I will get used to it.

I have Season 1 of the Bob Newhart Show on DVD, and the sound there is just as I remember it from when we'd all watch the show on TV at home. I just watched episode 1 of Season 2 here, and the sound was very, very tinny. It's especially noticeable in the beginning and ending credits with the theme music. It wasn't as noticeable with just the dialog during the program itself, although you could still hear it - but the music was horrible.
And no, it's not my speakers - every other show I've watched on Hulu has sounded fine.

I know because we had both sets: the 12 inch Trinitron is from 1973. On MTM they used it in Lou's office.

The 5-inch TV Jerry brings in to watch football is a bit older. It's a black & white portable Sony. We had that one two when I was groeing up.

It was also used as Mary Richard's TV (the one in her apt).
