Come on, you can't compare coal miners or construction workers to NFL players. Blue collar workers can indeed get injured on the job, but the NFL is for pure entertainment. Sure it is a business, and it makes billions of dollars to make fat cats even fatter, but the injuries is causes are the direct result of trying to entertain a crowd. So they should be compensated for their injuries that they sustain, epecially when a lot of these guys barely get to play into their 30's. And not all players are making millions of dollars that they can save, most are making just a few hundred thousand. I know that is still a lot of money, but when you start paying medical bills, even if you have saved, that money can be gone really fast.

In-game footage is property of the NFL, and they likely didn't grant permission to use it. While replays of the specific incidents would be helpful, I fully understand why it wasn't used.

This is not a movie about a bunch of people crying and complaining that they lost their silver spoons and want it back. The argument isn't that they think they are more special than office worker who has carpal tunnel for the rest of their life. I believe the argument here is that the PA should care about it's former players. The PA has the right to negotiate whatever the heck it wants... and this movie is demanding that the PA (not the NFL directly) needs to take an active role. Granted, the money will come from the NFL, but its the PA that would make it happen

Its truely sad that a business that earns billions refuse to help the pioneers of the game!! I was Coached ( N.C.C.U) by one of those pioneers who has been forgotten!! Ralph Wenzel!! He played for the Steelers and the Chargers! He was a major influence in my life and great man!! His wife (Dr. Perfetto) along with Mackeys wife are to be commended because they have fought so hard to make sure there husbands and other Vets of the game are taken care of (88 PLAN)!! God bless all of the former greats and lord have mercy on the owners and the commish in The NFL who could help change things for the better but refuse to because they have no "nuts and heart" and just plain "GREEDY"!!!
