Seriously, that was hilarious. Especially how he wrapped it in paper like fish or roses. And then point blank said: I killed your dog.That was not the first slap nor the last I fear for Marty.I'm also praising the lord that Elaine is still gone.

I didn't enjoy the table scene with Aunt Joan, nor the dead dog, but the show is great - nothing like it here in the US. Why?

... but I found the whole Oedipus situation with Auntie Joan and the fact that Martin runs over the dog hilarious. I read the reviews of other people and I understand their points of view - both those for and against these events in the episode.Regardless, I still laughed at both instances. This is a comedy drama and their does seem to be outrageous events that happen to put some sort of angst into Marin's life. Both of these events are just that - funny and outrageous. The funny parts don't even have to be the 'ha-ha' funny, but a 'you've got to be kidding me - that just happened' funny.Anyway, I laughed and thought it was 'ha-ha' funny. I must be a horrible person to some degree - but then again I do get my moniker from the antagonist in 'Needful Things' who was some sort of demonic entity and got joy from the misery of others.
