I totally agree. And Leslie actually mostly reminds me of the boss character from Party Down. He even looks like him.

I get what you're saying too - I have a friend whose daughter is the same way - she should be attractive - but there is just something off about her looks.

I agree. She's supposed to be the overly pretty and perfect person from the great successful super store. They gave her the right clothes and attitude and did her hair perfectly but her face doesn't fit the character. See 5 other replies

I kind of get what you're saying. Some of it probably has to do with the makeup and hairstyle they're giving the character. The actress is Jennifer Elise Cox, who's been in a lot of stuff besides this show, including playing Jan Brady in the Brady Bunch Movie. Sometimes she does look pretty, sometimes really not... kind of a quirky look, attractive but not "classically beautiful".
