Ok, I have lived in Colorado almost 50 years and have driven every mountain highway in this State. It is dangerous but you get used to it and learn what to look out for. If the show started out telling what ride we were going on and then just let the drivers talk and let us ride along I would have givin this a 5. If I had this narator riding with me I would leave him on the side of the road, preferably by a cliff, lol. Rock slides happen maybe 3 times a year in the entire state, weather conditions and animals are just natures way to tell you to slow down and be alert. Bad drivers are your worst nightmare on these highways and the motorcycle riders just have a death wish that will certanly catch up with them in time, been there and grew out of that, lol.
If you get a chance to drive in these beautiful mountains just relax, take your time and realize that this is not the place to try stupid stunts or be in any kind of hurry. Driving in these conditions takes as much concentration as you can muster up so if you can't slow down and take the time to enjoy the wonders just don't drive these roads. If you have people or animals that will not let you concentrate, I suggest you stay at home or leave them at home, lol.
