It's kind of ironic how hard it is to watch a documentary like this that doesn't contain gobs of sensationalism. I guess there is the part where they show a 30 second montage of chomsky saying crazy **** just as evidence to support his admission that he does in fact say crazy ****. The whole first half of the movie seemed more like a biography where he kind of says the same thing over and over but in different ways. People who are right tend to do that, but it is still really annoying. Unfortunately a lot of the rhetoric is the type of stuff vague hippie douchebags say nowadays.He does eventually supply evidence, but the lack of finger pointing made it about as boring as the lack of sensationalism. My impression of the film is pretty much a sad affirmation of what he says. it certainly doesnt mean it is entertaining though, even if you normally find entertainment in learning. I found it generally irrelevant and outdated as I take what he says for granted. Obviously the news is biased towards the government in general. Whether it is liberal or conservative isn't really relevant. That is a little gem of wisdom from the past. Nowadays we are more wondering why and by whom the media is manipulated. Corporations might be able to shed legal culpability, but those decisions are made by individuals.   See 2 other replies

The book really goes above and beyond in providing supporting evidence, we both probably agree, a book is much easier to reference(critiquing.) :)   See 2 other replies
