The antidotes for the problems that "bad" corporations are committing are solved by, first and most importantly - competition. If there entities too big to fail, there are greater forces at work that led their domination. Natural monopolies can even only occur in a few particular industries.
We are living in a dark time when a type of legal structure itself is to blame for our ailments. Even if a corporation was run by people completely immoral and bent on destruction - they have to obey pollution laws, etc, and they have to watch out from their competitors.
A documentary I'd love to see is a psychological analysis of the people who take interest in programs such as this. I suspect that society as a whole is experiencing widespread and slowly growing cynicism, hopelessness, that stems from our collective failure to have something deeper to believe in about life. We take our unhappiness and point fingers at things we don't understand.
There are most definitely bad and selfish people out there. Those individual people and the laws they skirt, the governments without integrity who allow unethical legislature to pass through, and the uninformed masses who don't understand what exactly the problem is - these are the evil. Lack of critical analysis is the evil of the time we live in.
