The scenery was beautiful and the story line was ok, but the narration took away from the whole thing. I found it really annoying. Especially the narrators wise cracks.
It cheapened the whole production.

When the writer is so bad he needs to incorporate the use of narrating the entire movie, well, it just isn't worth watching...

To me this seems to be more in the classification of a documentary than a feature film. Much of the movie was narrated; however there was some dialogue and actual acting as well. All in all, I felt this movie was very well done, though I can easily understand why people who were expecting a feature film would be sorely disappointed. I also wonder about the "adults only" rating. Yes, there were animals who were killed, animals who fought and inhuman humans who mistreated animals. I suppose it might not be appropriate for very young children, but it would seem to me that older children might be ready to grasp and understand that part of the movie. I believe I would allow my two grandchildren to watch it with me. We could talk about the difficult parts afterward. In that sense, it could be quite a learning experience for them, but then they've already experienced the death of their cat.

Yeah, great scenery...maybe turn the sound down and watch. I collected kids movies in the 90's in anticipation my children one day would watch them...this was a waste of the 90 cents I paid back then and I will be using it for spare parts to repair other damaged VHS tapes I have. This movie will suck the intelligence out of you! Hulu has more worth while movies to watch than this! (and a heck of alot of stupid movies too...why even put them on here!?...don't get me started!)

Beautiful scenery.
Good animal actors.
Human 'actors were some of the worst I've ever seen.
Horrible story line & writing.
Inaccurate & just plain wrong in so many places (they were Common Raven's, not American Crow's for one).
And last but not least, the music could actually make you vomit it was so bad.
