There's some decent information contained within this video -- mostly within the first half -- but the host, Zane Lamprey, is just painful to watch and even more painful to listen to. He's a douchebag of the Vince Vaughan school: all ego, bravado and nonstop patter, wearing the latest in frat-wear. He's the quintessential "ugly American" that one encounters from Iceland to Japan; determined to be utterly unconcerned with local social customs and propriety, and determined to act like a frat boy after a kegger. That's the first problem.
The second problem is that Mr. Lamprey doesn't do voice-overs. He does shout-overs. Everything he says from off-camera is delivered as if he's on the other side of a large room (say, the living room in a frat house), and shouted to a microphone fifteen feet away. Someone needs to explain to Mr. Lamprey that it is actually possible to have a microphone positioned within a few feet of one's mouth, so that one may speak into it in a normal tone of voice.
Seriously: if "Three Sheets" could replace Mr. Lamprey with someone slightly less overwhelmingly obnoxious and train them how to do proper voice-overs, this would probably be a decent series. Until then, he utterly ruins every effort to make it watchable.
