every time I see the Black Fury, I get furious! I agree that it is one thing to update a character, but they totally wiped away years of history, and years of my youth. I will not purchase any movie with the new Fury in it.
I wonder how they would explain "Nick Fury and His Howling Commandos", the comic where Nick Fury started as Sgt. Fury in World War II, and then he moved to the CIA. But that's the point probably. They want to wipe away the connection to "ancient history". See 16 other replies

Great episode. Finally, we found out what happen to Colossus. Also, the fight at the end was decent, especially how Emma Frost handle the militants & Wolverine removing couple left ears. Loved it!

Apparently the X-Men artists have come up with a sari that is knee length... lol

Nick Fury has been a white guy with gray hair at the temples for several decades. For some ridiculous reason, in Ultimate Marvel they decided to make him a bald black guy modeled after Samuel L. Jackson. Why? I have no clue, it’s ret@rded. It would be like making Blade a blonde, white nordic guy, or having the Black Panther become a South American, latin tribal leader – equally ridiculous. It’s one thing to “update” a character, and another to completely change him. Black Fury doesn’t even *act* like old Nick Fury, he acts like Samuel L. Jackson does in every role he has.
