So far this Series seems to try to blend the Legends of Camelot, Robin Hood, Some older and deeper myths, along with a touch of Lord of the Rings. So far the writers have done very well blending those myths. I'd add that I think there is a touch of the series Roar due to the main characters resemblance to Heath Ledger. The basics are there. The sword welding hero, The beautiful Maiden, and the Thief who's beneath his rough exterior has a heart of gold. So far It's a either a little over-acted on the cast's part. They're getting better at that however. I put that down to a new series jitters. Perfectly natural for that to happen. I'm not so impressed sometimes with the Special Effects department. Sometimes they have a really good special effect and then ruin it with the "Evil Spirit" Or what ever just disappearing. Far as I can see the Writer's and the cast are on board and working to make the series work. So far from the SGI and Special Effect's department except for a few instance's, they seem to just be looking to collect a paycheck. Hoping that the Actors will continue to improve and that the SGI and SF will finally do more than the basics. The Actors and Actresses' can pull this series off. The will however need more than the run of the mill SF department I've seen so far to do so. Really hoping that it will happen in the next few episodes otherwise this is going from a possible 4 star to a 2 star at best.
