Even though this movie was a little slow, it was very true-to-life. I have to say that the Bartender had it right, she lived life on her terms and didn't need anyone to take care of her, gotta respect that. I love Asian women, so beautiful. Not a bad movie, although all the dang commercials got old really fast, I hate commercials during a movie, I can understand it during TV shows or even if the movies were more recent but not during old foreign films like this. If your looking for a good movie to watch this isn't to bad, but if your looking for a fast paced movie this isn't it. The end was perfect, as one other person posted-"the more things change the more they stay the same". This poor woman needed to find her own identity and purpose, because without that one can never be truely happy, luckily times have changed and women have found that they don't have to be married or be a baby factory to have purpose and they can have an identity outside of marriage.
