How odd, How dare, The University of Phoenix NOT Asking YOU First, before they ran their ads. They should of knowed that YOU were already in a Very Prestigious College and not quite interested in that particular matter!!!

How odd, I keep reading other people's complaints about only one type of add being played and their all different for each person. Right now all I ever get is the University of Phoenix which is irritating because I am currently enrolled in a very prestigious college and am not quite interested in that particular matter.
Are we being targeted or is it some odd commercial pattern?

The Army ads irritate me too, but the one I found particularly distasteful was the DirectTV ad parodying Poltergeist. Not only was it not funny, or had any relevance to the topic at hand, but I just found it a rather vulgar display considering the actresses' death. Paying homage to the picture is one thing, but using it to make a quick buck...:-P Not that I believe they should walk on eggshells over every actor/actress that has passed, but that ad just struck me as particularly tacky and I had to vent.But I second the irritation at the constant attempts to recruit. What really gets me is when they play those ads at the movie theater. :-P I mean I understand they feel the need to advertise as much as the next person, but it's constant bombardment.   See 5 other replies

I do love this show. First time I have the chance to watch it from the beginning. However, is it just me or ALL the adds are about the Army lately? At my age I really don't need to be recruited.   See 5 other replies
