So from this trailer, which gives us no real info about the story, just goes to show that imitating film noir doesn't make it a film noir.
The characters seem promising but why the stuio chose this as an excerpt is confusing. It doesn't make me want to learn more, but it DOES make me want to feed them all some go-juice, and maybe be that someone off camera screaming 'get to the POINT'.
Maybe in-context this clip makes perfect sense; to someone who thought the precis looked interesting, but was let down by the experience it didn't make me want to rush out and see it.
