@ Allaboard - They are not saying 'only people' in NY are hungry. The commercial is trying to bring awareness to the people of NY that much of the city does not live in multi-million dollar two bedroom apartments and enjoy all the wealth, prestige and social high-life as many NY'ers do. It's easy to get lost in your own private world, your own little bubble so to speak, when you run in certain [social] circles. Only visiting the same places and the same people whom share your status makes it easy to not see what is truly going around you. Imagine it this way: If you lived inside your home only on the 57 floor a bldg and you never left the house would you really know what was going on just down the block from you? Yes. I agree completely. The order of priority of giving should be family, community, country and the world. Not to say you shouldn't care about other countries, but only help your community before that. If people have a problem with that, then oh well. If you disagree, don't hate on us for having a different opinion.   See 2 other replies
