The movie itself has a deep and involving plot that carries a deep message with it. The casting choices were perfect for this movie and Hiccups(the main character) voice was perfect for his personality in the movie. Toothless was amazing and in some scenes I almost couldn't tell it was CG.For the past few years Dreamworks has been very dry but this new movie seems to be just what they needed. Its from a writer who is completely new to Dreamworks, the same guy responsible for Lilo&Stitch who was fired from Disney because of some disagreement over the movie Bolt.So this movie is basically a second chance for Dreamworks, I hear they are making a sequel but lets hope they don't get carried away like they did with Shrek. Maybe, just maybe Dean DeBlois is exactly what Dreamworks needed to get out of the endless rut they were stuck in, or this could have just been a one time great movie followed by terrible sequels.
