I'm pretty sure most people would classify the 100 handers as monsters even though they're Titans as well. Titan is just a name referring to the sons of Uranus and Gaea, not forgetting the titaness term as well referring to the daughters. Titan has nothing to do with a human appearance like you're thinking. Also with the terminology we have today Titan is used to refer to someone who's extremely big, influencial, or powerful. If we use that meaning then yes, Medusa is extremely powerful ...and Perseus is very influencial because heros are looked up to and people often build their lives around the characteristics of those beings, and when Perseus and Medusa clash, you get the name of the movie. Yes, the name of the movie bugged me at first when I saw the first one but after thinking about it, it made complete sense.

josh your not compleatly right about the titans not being monsters. most of them weren't but there were a few. Cronus had siblings that his father couldn't stand to look apon they were so monsterous and so had lock deep in a cavern inside mother earth. mother earth couldnt stand to have her children locked away and so plotted with cronus to overthrow his father with the understanding that he free his siblings. cronus however couldn't stand them anymore than his father and so refused to release them after ascending the throne of the heavens
