why don't i see anybody saying anything about Doctor Who? since the brits restarted doctor who, it has seen great success. i bought a couple of the dvd sets because it is truly good quality, intelligent sci-fi. that is how i've been getting my sci-fi fix. also, since abc, cbc, nbc don't have any say on what becomes of doctor who, it will continue on (but just not ever broadcast on their networks). doctor who does run on syfy.also, there is a bbc america who will be airing brand new doctor who! - no longer have to wait until it is viewed in uk before seeing it here.   See 7 other replies

@Horus I think comparing V to Cleopatra 2025 shows your either a plant or a moron. I wish I could be more witty about it, but as a science fiction fan, I call bullsh$t on your whole post. ABC can't do scifi? Syfy can't do scifi! Lost has been consistently better than BSG, which failed miserably in its last season. Fox cancelled Firefly before the end of its first season. If anything ABC has been moving towards making and supporting new science fiction because of the success of Lost.ABC: Lost, FlashForward, VNBC: Chuck [more a comedy...]Fox: FringeCBS: ?Syfy: Craprica, Stargate UniverseSee in that little list how both in number and quality content, ABC has all the original scifi? V is a remake, yes. Caprica is a BSG spinoff and its utter garbage. SGU is the 5 or 6th incarnation of a series that was a reimagining of a Kurt Russel b-movie. This is a Remake of an old t.v series back in the 80's starring Marc Singer, which in my humble opinion trumps this one cgi be damned.Though ABC is screwing themselves over with the airing 4 episodes then taking it off the air until March.   See 7 other replies

I completely agree. In the beginning, the possibility of a race of aliens with advanced technology that did *not* want to kill us, immediately grabbed my attention. But now? There is absolutely nothing original or interesting about this series.   See 7 other replies
