What is wrong with you viewers?First you complain the John knows everything, then say he makes stupid mistakes.....Of course he is not perfect, first of all the program would be boring if he knows everything and can predict everything there is no challenge.Good part of it was unexpected, of course some are exaggerated but so is his personality, if you don't buy into it of course you won't enjoy it.But at least they gave him some flaws .Nice to touch, it is also good to get this guy with a woman finally, just hope she won't turn into a long boring love story, it will not stick.

Why? Because, even though I'm no investigative expert, I do know that it's a bad idea to get your fingerprings all over evidence. Especially if you are a potential suspect at the scene of the crime. It drives me crazy that John Doe never seems to wear gloves. It's like the writers only remember fingerprinting when it's convenient in the story. When that annoying British detective finally metioned gloves, I began to have hope... then I realized he only mentioned the gloves for protection, not for fingerprints.On another note, can you imagine all the research that must go into each episode of this show? I'm sure they have a couple people whose job it is to assist the writers through extensive research. That's got to take quite a bit of time when you think about it.

It is amazing that on just about every episode of the show, neither the police or John Doe, ever wear gloves when handling objects at a crime scene! They don't wear gloves even when opening doors at the crime scene...Maybe this show was in production before all of the high tech crime shows became prevalent? Still, it seems from an investigative standpoint, wearing gloves so as to not compromise evidence would be the standard.
