Taylor was wonderful, and by far the best host of this season so far. What a talented person. And I agree, she was hilarious as Shakira. This season has been absolute crap, and it was nice to see someone shine a little light of 'funny' into this very un-funny season of SNL. I mean, seriously, did you watch the January Jones episode? It was painful. Taylor Swift may be the only good thing that's happened on SNL this season (other than K.W, who is always brilliant.)

I'm not saying that this was in any way a good example of the show's work, but I think the point some of you are missing is that the joke was taking older musical acts that havent been doing much lately and are supposedly so out of work they are doing some ridiculous movie soundtrack. It's not that they were out of touch, it was done on purpose. Has it been done before, yes, too many times.

Honestly for as long as i can remember all of the sketches on the show were either hit or miss, I don't think ive ever seen an episode where I could say I honestly found everything funny.

I feel like I can say that the SNL cast has talent in it. However, it's totally negated by how poor the writing is. Maybe if they had some decent writers, they could come up with a good sketch show.

While it wasn't the point of the skit, the impression really just showed us how Taylor Swift can't even approach singing as well as Shakira, even Shakira at her age.

I smirked at the beginning, thinking of what they could do with this. All they seemed to do was say bunny over and over. Although some of the impressions were pretty good (Natalie one was great, even) I was under the impression that this was supposed to be funny.

I'm convinced they've been playing the same recorded laughter since the late 90's.
