There's funny, and then there is brilliant. This piece is definitely the latter. The best part about everything Jon said is that he wasn't really exaggerating, Glenn really does sound like that sometimes. It's akin to Tina Fey's impersonation of Sarah Palin on SNL last season; a ton of the dialog she used in those sketches were straight from Palin's mouth in interviews she had done.It really says something when you can write a comedy sketch this good without even trying to be funny or go overboard at all. I agree with whoever said Stewart should get an Emmy solely for this, it really is that good. If you don't believe me, watch some footage of Glenn Beck sometime and then come back to this video. It makes it all the more better.

I laughed all the way through this and have told all my friends about it. I think Stewart, Colbert, other satirists should use this more often. When you see how histrionic these FOX nuts are, the less seriously anyone should take them. He did a great job on this.

Mannerisms, voice, glances at the camera. Stewart got it all down pat. Do you know how much video of Glen Beck he had to watch and pay attention to in order to get this down? This is an homage. I watch Glen Beck all the time and I wouldn't even get that he has all those quirks. Think about the audience laughing and the voices of dissension in the reviews. Obviously, there are those who dislike him and still give him ratings. I like that Beck holds no seat in office and was a morning radio DJ that nobody heard of until Obama became president. When liberals and the "real media" started to poke fun and antagonize him, he really took off. So while we sit here and laugh at Stewart, Beck takes his ratings money to the bank. It's a win, win, win. Stewart gets a laugh, Liberals get an effigy (because Lord knows they wouldn't exist if they didn't have someone or something to blame) and Beck gets paid. I like Jason Sudeikis' impression also. After seeing this, I hope SNL hops on the wagon and develops their Beck character. They need a political character to mimic. Barrack Obama is not only long winded, he's kinda bland. You can't make fun of bland and you can't make fun of his urban mannerisms (like the way he said, "I wanna give a shout out" before saying a word about the soldiers at Ft. Hood) without being called a racist. This is total love Jon. I really did like the impression. Good Job!!
