ever seen a group of Japanese tourists? they dress in western style cloths and most don't speak a word of English, of course i am speaking of a stereotype found on TV and movies but it is plausible that a boat-full of people visiting from a foreign country for a wedding might just buy some cloths to wear to said wedding while on vacation someplace they have never been. i have heard that the shopping in SF is pretty good, so i would have to assume that at least a couple of people on a boat-full of people on vacation would avail themselves of the opportunity to do so..... i could go on but i won't.
a boat is generally very buoyant, its not always the hull that really keeps a boat afloat. they do tend to make them with the thought in mind that if it might get a hole in the side they might want it to stay afloat for more then 30 seconds so that either then can get close to shore or people have time to get to lifeboats or on to another boat.....

first it's very dangerous to put a helicopter on auto pilot because the wind can change changes and shifts courses especially over sea water in a bay.
Second it's not rude to learn the langue of a country you take permit residence in it's logical. If you or your kids get hurt or lost how are you supposed to get help? If you or your kids get prescribed medicine how are you supposed to know how much to take and when? When there is an emergency how your to know what to do? Are all the people of the country you live and work in supposed to all know every language spoke?
It's not rude it's being responsible, logical and smart.
Also while most Americans find it rude not to learn their language if you make your life here, we are not the only ones most all major countries feel the same of you decide make your life in there country.   See 13 other replies

In short, if you live in Rome you learn Italian, if you live in Mexico, you learn Mexican Spanish, if you live in Russia, you learn Russian, if you live in America, you learn one of the predominant language, American English or Mexican Spanish. It is not racism, it is common sense. So why, though many of the wedding guests may only be visiting from Hungary, wouldn't the Hungarians who live here able to speak the predominant language?   See 13 other replies

Oh btw the ship was full of Hungarians. That is why no one spoke English. Not every country finds it necessary to make Americans happy and learn English. It's rather rude for us to presume that they should.   See 13 other replies
