This anime has a lot of stuff in it behind the scenes if you pay attention close enough. In one of the late episodes they make fun of Eureka Seven. And they also have a scene with the female general of the Spiral King where she is crossing her legs, that's a play from the old movie Fatal Attraction. See 4 other replies

They also modeled the Super Galaxy Dai-Gurren after one of their Gunbuster mecha. I think Kaiyodo. ...and Rei and Asuka were in this? I going to guess the bath house, but wow I did not pay attention to that. NGE is the first Anime I ever watched. See 4 other replies

I'm sad that they didn't include the uncut version as well for Hulu. The DVD release had an English Dub version of the uncut version, even! It's not like it never got dubbed, they were so utterly ashamed of it.

Still, TTGL on Hulu. AWESOME. And Kamina had some nice lines here that I don't think he had before. Like his "Eyes in the front" speech. I absolutely LOVE those lines. See 4 other replies
