Just because the words "universal healthcare" were used by the V's does not make them an allegory for President Obama. They're a governmental stature that is using the world's dire situation as a pedestal for their stance on human prosperity, and draws a lot of attention and support from the world's youth. All those who are opposed are silenced and all those who would actively stand against them are killed.
This isn't Obama, it's freaking Hitler. Totalitarian dictatorship at its most extreme, by gaining control through widespread trust rather than fear in its early stages. It's scary because we see it as a possibility in our world, but that doesn't mean that our world is really in that dire a state.
Obama hasn't locked people up in camps, nor has he preached of any "superior genes", nor have there been doctored photos of him with other high ranking government officials erased from them. The only thing he's done even vaguely reminiscent of these things is when he stopped allowing Fox News to interview him for a while, but with "journalists" on their staff like Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly and that network's reputation, that move didn't surprise me all too much.
In the time I've been actually listening to what people say about our politicians, I've heard the comparison to Hitler made WAY too often. Bush or Obama, agree or disagree, I'm not throwing that name around until I see an SS-style branch of military or speeches that blame a certain religion/race for our problems.
That's politics. V's a television program. Enjoy it or don't.
